About Tyler Pommier

Tyler Pommier is a renewable energy executive based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is the Executive Vice President of Innovation at GulfStream Renewables, a clean energy firm focused on solar, wind, and bioenergy projects across the Gulf Coast. In this role, he oversees the development, management, and implementation of large-scale energy systems aimed at reducing carbon emissions and improving grid efficiency.

Pommier began his career in 2009 as a Junior Energy Analyst at Bayou Power Solutions in New Orleans. He later joined SolaraGrid in Austin, Texas, where he led several utility-scale solar installations. From 2016 to 2021, he worked at ClearCurrent Energy as Director of Project Development, where he managed renewable infrastructure projects and community energy programs.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Michigan. His work often bridges technical engineering with public policy and community engagement.

Pommier is known for his ability to explain technical energy systems in accessible terms. He frequently collaborates with engineers, business partners, and local leaders to plan and execute sustainable solutions. He has been recognized by several industry organizations for leadership in clean energy development.
