Tracey Biscontini is an American writer, editor, and project manager. She is the founder and CEO of Northeast Editing, Inc., a company specializing in educational content development. She has over 20 years of experience in writing and editing for major publishers and testing companies.

Biscontini founded Northeast Editing in 1992. The company provides content for digital and print publications, focusing on educational materials, reading passages, and test-preparation resources. Her team includes experienced writers and editors who develop assessment items and curriculum-aligned content. The company has worked with educational publishers to produce Common Core-aligned materials and other standardized test items.

In addition to managing Northeast Editing, Biscontini has written test-preparation books and worked as a newspaper columnist and college instructor. She specializes in reading comprehension, literacy, and assessment writing. Her expertise in educational publishing has made her a key contributor to standardized testing materials.

In 2009, she was recognized as one of the Top 25 Women in Business in Northeastern Pennsylvania by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Biscontini is also active in animal rescue and fosters stray and feral cats. Several rescue cats live at the Northeast Editing office, where she and her team help socialize kittens for adoption.

She holds bachelor’s degrees in secondary education and mass communications from King’s College and a master’s degree in English from the University of Scranton. She lives in Pennsylvania with her family.
