About Todd Campbell

Todd Campbell is an American football coach, educator, and U.S. Army veteran based in Dallas, Texas. He has coached across several Texas 4A and 5A high school programs, serving in roles such as offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, running backs coach, and wide receivers coach. Known for his disciplined and structured approach, Campbell emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and player development.

Before his high school coaching career, Campbell worked at the college level. He began as a student assistant coach at Texas Tech University, focusing on offensive development and receiver training. He later joined Texas A&M–Commerce as a running backs and tight ends coach and went on to serve as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the College of the Sequoias in California. During his tenure there, his offense set three school records, including most points scored in a single game, highest season completion percentage, and yards per catch average.

Following the September 11 attacks, Campbell left coaching to enlist in the U.S. Army, where he served for four and a half years. After sustaining an injury on active duty, he was honorably discharged and later returned to coaching in Texas. His teams have achieved multiple district, bi-district, and regional championships under his leadership.

Campbell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and multiple educator certifications from the Texas Education Agency. Outside of coaching, he volunteers with food pantries and veteran-focused shelters and enjoys classic cars and aviation.
