About Tajila Mullahkhel

Tajila Mullahkhel is a chemical engineer and educator based in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the owner of Azhar Enterprises and works independently on technical projects and educational initiatives. Her background includes research, corporate engineering, and language instruction.

Mullahkhel earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2013. During her time at the university, she worked as a research assistant in biomimetics, focusing on natural structures and how they can inspire material design. She also taught Intermediate Pashto language courses to undergraduate students.

After graduation, she joined Fresenius Medical Care North America. She worked there from 2014 to 2016, first as a Central GMQ-NA Engineer and later as an Engineering Project Manager. Her responsibilities included sustaining engineering, product improvement, and cross-functional team coordination in the healthcare industry.

Since 2017, Mullahkhel has been self-employed. Through Azhar Enterprises, she applies her experience in process engineering and project management to a variety of independent and client-based work. She also continues to engage in educational outreach and writes about engineering, culture, and sustainability on her personal website.

Outside of her professional life, she has an interest in health and wellness. She enjoys running, walking, and baking with her children. Mullahkhel is involved in charitable activities, which she prefers to keep private.

Her work spans technical, cultural, and educational fields, and she remains active in exploring how engineering intersects with daily life, learning, and community development.
