Taansen Fairmont Sumeru is an American consultant, writer, and educator in the fields of financial sovereignty and natural law. He is the founder of Brilliance in Commerce, a platform that provides information and services related to debt elimination, asset protection, and legal trusts. His work focuses on helping individuals use lawful, non-statutory tools to manage finances and safeguard assets outside traditional systems.

Taansen began his education at Maharishi International University in Iowa and completed further studies at Maharishi European Research University in Switzerland. In 1977, he received the title “Governor of the Age of Enlightenment” after completing advanced consciousness-based training. Since the early 1990s, he has managed and advised on Natural Law Trusts—private, irrevocable trusts based on contract and common law principles.

He has written several books, including Sovereignty Consciousness, The Natural Law Trust – Asset Protection for Peaceful People, and How to Outright Cancel 100% of Your Unsecured Debt. His writing combines legal research with spiritual and philosophical ideas. He is also a frequent speaker at international seminars and conferences on topics such as lawful finance, meditation, and natural law.

Taansen’s career includes teaching meditation, composing music, and offering lectures on self-governance and legal empowerment. He has spoken at events in the Caribbean, Pacific Rim, and other regions. His work is aimed at audiences seeking alternatives to conventional legal and financial systems. He currently resides in the United States and continues to lead Brilliance in Commerce while writing and consulting internationally.
