DeRose began her career in the restaurant industry in 1979 when she and her business partner, Richard Lewis, opened Bones Restaurant in Buckhead. Originally created as a casual place for friends to gather, the steakhouse quickly gained popularity and became a staple for business professionals and celebrities.
