About Stephen Simmang

Stephen Simmang is a wellness entrepreneur based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas. He is the Co-Founder and former Co-CEO of Kale Diagnostics, a functional health company that offers advanced lab testing and personalized wellness programs. He helped build Kale into a recognized brand in the functional health space, focusing on data-driven care and long-term health solutions.

Before starting Kale Diagnostics, Simmang worked in the supplemental health insurance industry. He partnered with companies like Gallagher to develop wellness programs for employers and health plans. His early work focused on connecting traditional insurance models with proactive health services.

In 2018, he founded Prioritize Wellness, a company that provided health and wellness solutions to individuals and organizations. He also led Pronto Telehealth from 2019 to 2022, offering remote healthcare access across Texas.

After stepping back from day-to-day operations at Kale Diagnostics, Simmang began developing a mindfulness mobile app. The app is designed to help users improve emotional health through stress regulation, daily routines, and nervous system support.

Simmang’s work focuses on the connection between physical and emotional health. He is interested in tools that support long-term well-being, including meditation, reflection, and personal development.

He supports several mental health organizations, including Mental Health America, The Jed Foundation, and the David Lynch Foundation.

Simmang grew up in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and attended college in Virginia. He continues to live in Texas, where he works on new wellness projects and supports mental health causes.
