About Spencer Short

Spencer Short is a finance professional currently working as a Digital VEA at Morgan Stanley in Alpharetta, Georgia. He joined the firm in January 2024, where he supports financial advisors by providing digital tools and solutions to improve client service and workflow efficiency. His role focuses on technology integration, operations, and client relationship support.

He graduated from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Management. During college, he was a member of the Finance Club and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. His coursework and extracurricular activities focused on business operations, financial services, and leadership development.

Short gained early experience through internships in both finance and real estate. In 2020, he interned with the Lynd Company, a real estate investment and development firm in San Antonio, Texas. He later held a part-time role as a client associate while completing his degree.

Originally from San Antonio, Short attended Clark High School, where he played varsity basketball and participated in the National Honor Society and Latin Club. Before that, he was a student at St. George Episcopal School, where he was active in multiple sports and student organizations.

Outside of work, he enjoys sports, fitness, and community service. He has volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and local food banks. He is a fan of Cleveland’s professional sports teams and attends games regularly. He lives in Atlanta and frequently visits Port Aransas, Texas, with his family.
