About Shannon Kobylarczyk

Shannon Kobylarczyk is an American attorney and former corporate legal executive based in Wisconsin. She began her career in accounting after earning a BBA in Accounting from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, in 1997. She completed the degree in three years and moved into a series of accounting roles in the private sector.

Kobylarczyk joined a global workforce solutions company, where she remained for 21 years. She first worked in corporate accounting. While employed full time, she enrolled in the part time program at Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2009.

After law school, she transferred from the finance function to the company’s global legal department as a Securities Attorney. In that role she worked on public company reporting, securities law compliance, and related disclosure matters. Over time she assumed broader responsibilities in the organization’s legal leadership.

She was promoted to Associate General Counsel and served as Corporate Secretary. Her portfolio included oversight of securities, corporate governance, ethics and compliance programs, and management of the company’s trademark portfolio. Her background in both accounting and law allowed her to work at the intersection of financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and board governance.

Outside her in house role, Kobylarczyk served on the board of the Make A Wish Wisconsin chapter, reflecting a personal connection to the organization’s mission. Her professional interests include law, accounting, education pathways for working adults, and issues related to corporate ethics and compliance.
