About Sam Kazran

Sam Kazran is an American automotive executive and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in dealership operations and leadership. He is the executive manager and operating partner of Rapids Nissan, a new car franchise located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

Kazran was born and raised in the Bay Area of San Francisco, California. He earned a bachelor’s degree before beginning his career in the automotive industry. By the age of 25, he had built his first million-dollar business. At 27, he became the youngest Executive Vice President in the history of Asbury Automotive Group.

By his mid-30s, Kazran had acquired and managed six new car franchises operating across nine rooftops. His companies employed more than 540 people and produced over $500 million in annual sales. Over the course of his career, he has been responsible for creating hundreds of jobs and building large-scale dealership operations.

In 2024, Kazran acquired Rapids Nissan. The dealership currently employs more than 80 people and generates over $50 million in annual sales under his leadership. He is recognized for his focus on operational growth and his ability to manage high-performing teams in a competitive industry.

Kazran is also active in philanthropy. He has served as vice president and chair of Orphans Worldwide, a nonprofit supporting children in Haiti and Costa Rica. He was a major donor to His Hands Extended, an organization that built schools in Africa. He is a member of South Point Community Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
