About Robert Massimi
Robert Massimi is a business executive, theater producer, and drama critic based in Saddle River, New Jersey. He serves as CEO of RM Global Advisors, an international advisory firm focused on global strategy and business relationships. His career has spanned transportation, freight brokerage, financial services, and advisory leadership, alongside sustained involvement in the performing arts.
Massimi grew up in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, where he was raised in a household connected to the textiles and transportation industries. He was a competitive athlete in soccer, ice hockey, baseball, and golf, earning All-County, All-State, and All-American recognition in ice hockey. He also set school records in soccer and middle school track.
He attended St. Joseph’s Regional High School before enrolling at Manhattan College, where he completed a triple major in English, Government, and Psychology with a business minor. He was a valedictorian nominee, received the most outstanding student distinction at graduation, and was inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society. He subsequently earned an MBA from NYU and an additional MBA from Yale University.
After college, Massimi entered the family transportation business and later purchased and operated B&B Transport. He founded Essex-Morgan LLC, a hedge fund, in 1997. From 2005 through 2024, he worked as a freight broker before launching RM Global Advisors in 2024.
Massimi has been active in drama criticism since 1982, serving as chief drama critic for Metropolitan Magazine, Nimbus Magazine, and My Life Publications. He has produced 14 productions on and off Broadway. He has served on the boards of several institutions, including Manhattan College and Metropolitan Playhouse.
