Nitin Khanna is an entrepreneur and business leader based in Portland, Oregon. He is the founder and CEO of MergerTech, a boutique investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions for technology companies. Established in 2009, MergerTech has facilitated numerous high-profile transactions, helping tech entrepreneurs achieve strategic exits.

Born in Chandigarh, India, Khanna pursued his education in engineering at Purdue University, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering. He began his career at Oracle before co-founding Saber Corp. in 1998. Saber provided innovative technology solutions to state governments, streamlining public sector systems. The company grew to 1,200 employees and was acquired by EDS in 2007 for $460 million.

Khanna’s experience in scaling and exiting businesses inspired his work at MergerTech. He has overseen deals in various tech sectors, including cloud computing, software, and mobile applications. His focus has been on bridging the gap between growing startups and large acquirers, leveraging his understanding of both innovation and market dynamics.

In addition to his work in mergers and acquisitions, Khanna has contributed to other industries, including premium spirits, where he co-founded El Cristiano, a tequila brand emphasizing sustainability and authenticity.
