About Nathan Loyd Ndungu
Nathan Loyd Ndungu is an entrepreneur and business consultant with over 30 years of experience in international trade, construction, and agriculture. He is the founder and CEO of Avoveg Health Kenya Ltd and Avoveg Health LLC, companies that export avocados from Kenya to global markets. Ndungu earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1994. He began his career as a technical consultant for Eurotrade International, working in the mineral processing sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In 1999, he founded DN International, a construction company in Rwanda. The firm completed projects for major clients, including the United States Embassy in Rwanda, Coca-Cola East Africa, and UNICEF. He led the company as CEO until 2011.
