About Miroslav Boyanov

Miroslav Boyanov is a US based healthcare and corporate finance executive with experience in hospital operations, mergers and acquisitions, and international development. He has spent more than two decades working in senior finance and leadership roles across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. His work has focused on financial restructuring, turnaround management, joint ventures, and cross border healthcare expansion.

Boyanov began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Philadelphia, where he worked in middle market advisory services. He later joined Essent Healthcare, holding roles that included Director of Financial Operations, Assistant Chief Financial Officer, and Hospital Chief Financial Officer. In these positions, he was responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and operational oversight at multiple hospital facilities.

He later moved into development and mergers and acquisitions roles at IASIS Healthcare. After IASIS became part of Steward Health Care, Boyanov took on international leadership positions, including Vice President of Development and International Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities included managing acquisitions, divestitures, post merger integration, and restructuring efforts across Europe and Latin America.

Since 2021, Boyanov has operated as an Operating Partner at Boyanov Consult. In this role, he provides advisory and interim leadership support to healthcare organizations. His work includes serving as interim market CFO, transitions officer, and advisor on international healthcare projects, including initiatives connected to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 healthcare transformation.

Boyanov holds degrees in accounting and taxation from Drexel University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He completed executive education at the Rotterdam School of Management and the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
