About Michael Sealy
Michael Sealy is Director of Corporate Strategy at Sealy & Company, a full-service commercial real estate operating platform based in Dallas, Texas. He has been with the organization since late 2000, building cross-functional expertise across construction, development, capital markets, and investment analysis before assuming his current strategic role.
Sealy began his career as a leasing broker at Colliers International. After joining Sealy & Company, he held roles including Construction Manager, Analyst, Development Manager, VP Capital Markets, and Chief Capital Markets Officer. In his current position, he supports long-term strategic initiatives, evaluates strategic opportunities, assesses capital alignment, and supports enterprise-wide planning.
Sealy was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, as the son of Scott Sealy Sr., a commercial real estate figure active in the industry for more than 60 years, and Diane Sealy. He attended Loyola College Prep in Shreveport, where he participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and played on the varsity football team that advanced to the state final game during his senior year in 1995. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Anthropology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1999.
He supports organizations including Momentous Institute, Habitat for Humanity, United Way, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Meals on Wheels, the Dallas Arboretum Foundation, the American Heart Association, The Red Cross, and the Salvation Army. He participates in events benefiting the Byron Nelson Golf Tournament, Dallas Sporting Classic, La Fiesta De Las Seis Banderas, and Folds of Honor. He is also involved with Highland Park High School, The Gate House, and Rise School.
Sealy holds memberships in the Dallas Hunting and Fishing Club, 737 Duck Club, Northwood Country Club, Park House, Maplewood Social, Salesmanship Club of Dallas, and Highland Park United Methodist Church. He is affiliated with SMU Life After Ball, the Order of the Flags, and Phi Delta Theta.
His interests include wildlife conservation, hunting, fishing, shooting sporting clays, farming for wildlife and waterfowl, family, travel, and cooking.
