Maurice Bouchard is an artist and caregiver based in Athens, Georgia. His career has included roles in memory care, hospital support, and home-based caregiving. Bouchard is known for his steady approach to patient care and for integrating creative practices into his daily routine.

Bouchard grew up in Watkinsville, Georgia, and attended Oconee County High School. He later graduated from the University of Georgia in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree. He earned recognition as a UGA Charter Scholar during his first year. In 2017, he completed his CNA certification through One Breath CNA, which prepared him for clinical support roles.

His professional experience began in 2018 at Avery Place Memory Care, where he worked as a Resident Care Partner. In this role, he assisted residents with daily activities and supported care staff in a memory care environment. Later that year, he joined Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital as a Patient Care Tech. He worked there until 2019, performing tasks related to patient monitoring, clinical assistance, and general unit support.

In 2022, Bouchard returned to clinical work as a Patient Care Tech at St. Mary’s Health Care System. He remained in this position until 2023. His responsibilities included direct patient care, equipment preparation, and assisting nursing teams during fast paced shifts.

Since 2023, Bouchard has worked as a stay at home parent while continuing his personal development in art. He focuses on watercolor painting, 3D printing, and miniature figure work. His interests support a balanced routine that combines caregiving, creativity, and personal study.
