Her father is a civil engineer, and her mother is a high school English teacher who immigrated to the United States from Iran. From an early age, Simpson showed interest in storytelling, design, and technology.

She attended Rutgers University–New Brunswick and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communications in 2014. During college, she completed a digital marketing internship at a small advertising agency in Princeton. In 2018, she completed a Digital Marketing Certificate through the NYU School of Professional Studies, with coursework focused on SEO, analytics, and brand strategy.

Simpson began her career at Garden State Financial Services in Newark, New Jersey, where she worked as a marketing assistant and later took on coordinator-level responsibilities. Her work included email campaigns, social media management, and reporting.

In 2017, she joined BrightLeaf Media Group in Jersey City as a marketing specialist. There, she managed digital campaigns across healthcare, retail, and technology clients. Her work included rebranding efforts, influencer programs, and content strategies tied to performance metrics.

Since 2021, Simpson has worked at EverNova, a sustainability-focused consumer brand based in Hoboken. In her current role, she supports brand messaging, performance marketing, and cross-functional campaign planning.
