Lauren Kunz Chateauneuf

Lauren Kunz Chateauneuf is an entrepreneur, realtor, and nonprofit leader based in Webster, New York. She is best known as the retail gift shoppe owner at Kunz’s Christmas Tree Farm, a family business that has operated since 1949. She has balanced roles in retail, real estate, and service industries, while also serving in community leadership positions.

Chateauneuf began her career in 2002 when she opened Tessellations Gift Boutique, which she operated until 2008. In 2003, she took on management of the gift shop at Kunz’s Christmas Tree Farm, where she continues to oversee retail operations and community initiatives, including seasonal coat drives.

Her real estate career began in 2006 with Hunt Real Estate ERA. She later worked with Nothnagle Realtors and has been a licensed salesperson with Dixon and Carr Realty since 2014. She has earned sales awards and developed expertise in residential, commercial, and land transactions across Monroe, Wayne, and Ontario Counties. She is also a certified New York State OTN Residential Wastewater Inspector.

In addition to real estate and retail, Chateauneuf co-owned H&S Septic Services from 2009 to 2017. She has also worked as a freelance social media marketing specialist since 2017, helping small businesses expand their reach.

Chateauneuf has long been active in nonprofit leadership. She served as Vice President of Habitat for Cats NY from 2010 to 2012 and became President in 2018, where she has overseen programs that rescued and supported thousands of cats in the region.
