About Kristopher Marrion

Kristopher Marrion is Vice President and Branch Manager at Erie Insurance Group, based in Elkridge, Maryland. He leads the company's Maryland branch from the Silver Spring office, overseeing operations, sales leadership, and independent agent partnerships across Maryland and the Washington DC territory.

Marrion was born and raised in Columbia, Maryland, one of four children. His father passed away when he was 11 years old, and his mother raised the family alone. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts and played basketball and lacrosse during his youth. He studied marketing and management at York College of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA from the same institution.

He began his career at Erie Insurance Group as a temporary mail room employee, later advancing to Customer Service Representative and then District Sales Manager in Silver Spring, Maryland. He subsequently accepted a Branch Manager role in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he served for seven years before returning to Maryland. He was later promoted to Vice President and Branch Manager, his current role. His tenure at Erie Insurance Group spans more than 22 years.

Marrion is a recipient of the Insurance Professional of the Year award from the North Carolina Independent Insurance Association. Outside of his professional work, he volunteers with the Howard County Police Foundation as an instructor in its Collision Avoidance Training program, and contributes time to Gilchrist Hospice, Rebuilding Baltimore, and the Rainbow Community Center in Silver Spring.
