Kris Thorkelson is a Canadian entrepreneur and real estate investor based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is the founder and CEO of Thorwin Properties, a company that manages over 2,400 apartment units in Winnipeg. Thorkelson graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He began his career in business shortly after, owning and managing multiple companies in different industries. In 2010, he transitioned into real estate, recognizing the growing demand for well-maintained rental properties in Winnipeg.

Through Thorwin Properties, he has expanded his portfolio, emphasizing tenant satisfaction and long-term property value. His approach includes investing in property improvements, maintaining high management standards, and ensuring housing remains accessible for a wide range of renters.
