About Jonathan Misura
Jonathan Misura is a student athlete at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, where he is studying exercise science. He is originally from Milltown, New Jersey, and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Edison, NJ.
Misura is a baseball pitcher. In high school, he had a standout junior season with a 1.17 earned run average (ERA). He helped lead his team to win the 2024 state championship. He has played baseball since he was five years old and also studied karate at Golden Tiger Dojo during his childhood.
At East Stroudsburg University, Misura joined the baseball program as a freshman. He redshirted his first season, which means he did not compete in games or record any statistics. This decision allowed him to focus on training, academics, and physical development.
Misura is 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. He trains for baseball six days a week and follows a set academic and athletic plan. He is interested in sports performance and hopes to apply what he learns in exercise science to his future career.
Outside of school and sports, Misura enjoys snowboarding, fishing, and deep-sea diving. He is a certified diver. He values feedback from his coaches and teachers and is known for his discipline and work ethic. He credits his family for their support and motivation.
Misura plans to continue developing his skills in baseball while staying focused on his education. He has stated that learning from failure is an important part of both sports and life.
