Jonathan McKinney is a licensed homebuilder and the owner of AIP Construction, a custom homebuilding and remodeling company based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He founded AIP Construction in 2004 and has led the company for over two decades, focusing on residential construction projects across Tuscaloosa and nearby areas.

McKinney was born in Holt, Alabama, and moved to Samantha, Alabama, in 1987. He graduated from Northside High School in 1994, where he played football and participated in academic competitions. He earned his Alabama Homebuilder’s License in 2004 and later completed his studies at Highlands College in 2019, where he focused on leadership and service.

As the head of AIP Construction, McKinney oversees all aspects of the building process, from planning and design to execution. His company works on both new custom homes and home renovations. He is known for being directly involved in projects and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.

In addition to his construction work, McKinney is active in community service. He leads volunteer building projects through Church of the Highlands in Tuscaloosa, where he also serves as a prayer team leader. Past projects have included building rooms for foster families, renovating public spaces for child welfare services, and improving facilities for student and recovery programs.

McKinney’s approach combines technical skills with community engagement. He credits his success to hard work, consistency, and a focus on meeting the needs of others through reliable service. He continues to live and work in the Tuscaloosa area.
