About Jim Browning

Jim Browning is a Colorado based executive, founder, and operations leader known for his work in business growth, organizational alignment, and multi site management. He is the President and Founder of RNK Running, a specialty retail and community athletics organization. He also works as a fractional executive and consultant through JB Services, supporting companies in retail, manufacturing, distribution, trades education, and nonprofit sectors.

Browning began his career in large scale education and training systems, where he oversaw more than one hundred locations and more than one thousand staff across the United States. His work focused on regulatory compliance, financial oversight, operational restructuring, and leadership development. He later joined the founding team of Run Specialty Group, where he helped grow the company from its start to more than fifty stores and more than one hundred million dollars in annual revenue.

In 2015 he founded RNK Running in Colorado. The company operates specialty running stores, coaching programs, and regional events. It is known for strong revenue performance and partnerships with medical and community organizations. Browning also led major growth and integration efforts for Edmundson Inc and its affiliated companies, supporting expansion in agriculture, production, and distribution. During this period the group recorded significant multi year revenue increases and built a portfolio of subsidiary businesses.

Through JB Services, Browning continues to advise private equity groups, family owned companies, nonprofits, and founders on strategic planning, operational systems, and organizational clarity. He focuses on helping teams structure their work, define goals, and build predictable performance.
