Dr. Jennifer Robinson is an American psychiatrist based in Detroit, Michigan. She is the Director of Psychiatric Services at Integral Psychiatric and Recovery Services, a telehealth-based private practice focused on treating patients with a wide range of mental health conditions.

Robinson was born and raised in Detroit. She attended Cass Technical High School, where she played tennis and developed an early interest in the sciences. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Bowling Green State University, graduating magna cum laude. She then completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2011 and finished a residency in general psychiatry at Detroit Medical Center in 2015.

Her career has spanned multiple clinical settings. She has worked in state psychiatric hospitals, acute inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and telehealth services. From 2021 to 2023, she served as a clinical psychiatrist at Walter Reuther Psychiatric Hospital, where she treated patients with serious and persistent mental illness and provided forensic evaluations for court-referred individuals. She also worked at Munson Medical Center, managing acute psychiatric cases in an inpatient setting.

Robinson currently holds additional part-time positions with Ortele Health, providing telepsychiatry services, and the Institute of Supportive Services, where she focuses on addiction treatment and medication-assisted therapy for opioid use disorder.

Across her career, Robinson has combined clinical practice with education, mentoring residents and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Her work emphasizes access to care through telehealth and treatment of complex psychiatric disorders.
