Hootan Troy Farahmand, also known as H. Troy Farahmand, is a California attorney and business executive. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Alexso, Inc., a pharmaceutical distribution company headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

Farahmand is licensed to practice law in California. Earlier in his career, he worked in corporate law and intellectual property matters. In 2013, he moved away from practicing law full time and focused on operating and growing businesses.

At Alexso, Farahmand has overseen national expansion efforts. The company has held state licenses in more than 25 states and has shipped products across all 50 states. It has also obtained authorization from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to distribute controlled medications. Alexso’s catalog has included pharmaceuticals, medical devices, generic medications, over-the-counter products, and nutraceuticals. The company has worked with international pharmaceutical partners, including AFT Pharmaceuticals and USPharma.

Farahmand has collaborated with Farbod Melamed, Pharm.D., in healthcare and pharmaceutical operations over the past decade. His work has focused on regulated distribution, operational processes, and compliance requirements tied to multi-state shipping.

Outside of pharmaceutical distribution, Farahmand holds a California real estate broker license and manages a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, including short-term rentals. He is also associated with a Chevron station in Redlands, California that has been described as a modernized, design-forward retail location.
