Frank Okunak is an American business executive and advisor with more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance, operations, and organizational leadership. He is based in New York, New York, and currently serves as a Business Advisor at IPM, where he works with leadership teams on operational improvement, growth planning, and organizational structure.

From 2008 to 2022, Okunak was the Chief Operating Officer of Weber Shandwick, a global public relations and communications firm. In this role, he oversaw global operations, financial planning, and internal systems across multiple regions. His responsibilities included managing financial reporting, improving utilization and staffing models, and strengthening compliance and human resources processes. He also supported learning and development programs and contributed to leadership initiatives focused on long term performance and organizational stability.

Earlier in his career, Okunak held senior roles in finance and operations, with experience in business restructuring, mergers and acquisitions support, and performance management. Across these roles, his work focused on translating strategy into execution and building systems that support sustainable growth.

Okunak earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. His academic background also includes study in psychology, which informs his interest in leadership behavior and organizational culture.

In addition to his professional work, Okunak is active in community service. He volunteers at Eva’s Kitchen in Paterson, New Jersey, where he serves as a peer tutor and supports individuals facing food insecurity. He also mentors young professionals, emphasizing accountability, continuous learning, and practical leadership skills.
