Dennis Mitchell Farrah is a retired American financial planner and accountant with more than 40 years of experience in tax and retirement planning. He is known for his disciplined approach to accounting, his focus on client trust, and his long-term commitment to community service.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Farrah grew up in a working-class family that valued hard work and education. After serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, he earned an honorable discharge in 1972. He went on to study at Roger Williams University, where he completed two bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and finance.

Farrah began his professional career in the mid-1970s when he established his own financial planning practice. His work focused on accounting, forensic accounting, and both personal and business tax filing. He became widely respected for his careful attention to detail and straightforward communication with clients. Farrah chose not to enter the securities industry, preferring to focus on transparent, service-based financial work.

Over the decades, Farrah built a loyal client base that often included multiple generations of families. His philosophy emphasized honesty, consistency, and long-term relationships. After retiring in 2017, he remained active in civic and charitable work.

Now living in Fishers, Indiana, Farrah continues to support local food pantries, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Fishers Democratic Party. Outside of his volunteer efforts, he enjoys biking, golf, and boating. His career and life reflect a steady dedication to integrity, education, and community.
