Corey Hunt is a Master Electrician and Owner of Rocky Coastal Electric, an electrical contracting company serving residential and commercial clients in the Lewiston-Auburn area of Maine. His career in the electrical trade began in 2014 with solar installations in Massachusetts, where he worked for a roofing company and advanced from helper to foreman over two years.

After his initial experience in solar, Hunt pursued formal electrical training through Novel Energy in Rockland, Maine, where he earned his Master Electrician license for the state of Maine. He worked with Tradesmen International and E.S.M. in Maine before joining the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers), traveling across the United States and working with multiple locals including projects in California. Hunt describes his time with the IBEW as formative, stating that working with different crews taught him discipline and standards.

In March 2023, Hunt founded Rocky Coastal Electric in the Lewiston-Auburn region. The company provides traditional electrical work, solar energy installations, and EV charging solutions. According to press coverage, the business became widely known in the region within three years of its founding. Hunt states that his approach combines union-level technical standards with personalized customer service and a commitment to integrity.

Hunt grew up in the Lewiston-Auburn area of Maine and attended a career center in Lewiston where he studied electrical work. He describes his entry into the trades as a search for direction and guidance. Throughout his career, Hunt has maintained a focus on continuous learning, stating that he does not stop reading and views success as the continuing of education and constant improvement.

Hunt is a member of the IBEW and holds a Master Electrician license in the state of Maine. He makes regular donations to his church community and describes his family as a primary motivation in his work and life decisions. He lives in Lewiston, Maine.
