Clayton Otto is a finance executive with over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry. His responsibilities included global operations, treasury management, and strategic planning across multiple departments.

Otto began his career as a Middle Office Analyst, where he focused on pricing and valuation of financial instruments. He later moved to the UK to lead operations in Surrey, managing settlements and improving trade support processes across international markets. He returned to the U.S. to lead the firm’s Treasury Operations team, focusing on collateral management, funding, and regulatory compliance.

From 2015, Otto held senior leadership roles, including Deputy Chief Operating Officer. He helped guide the firm through major structural changes and led efforts during financial crises. He worked closely with legal, risk, and technology teams to support trading operations and improve firm-wide coordination.

In later years, Otto has played a key role in launching new trading products, including cryptocurrency, and chaired or co-chaired several internal committees, such as Credit, Treasury, and Fund Expense.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Otto has also volunteered since 2011 with Wharton’s Alumni Interview Program, supporting prospective students.

Originally from Minnesota, Otto now lives in Mamaroneck, New York. He values teamwork, communication, and maintaining a balanced life. His interests include basketball, hiking, golf, and time with family.
