Christopher O'Reilly is a marine professional based in West Palm Beach, Florida. He works as a Marine Technician with Coastal Air Systems, where he applies hands-on expertise in vessel systems and maintenance to the South Florida marine market.
O'Reilly grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he developed an early connection to the water through sailing on Long Island Sound. He attended Brunswick School and later studied at Fairfield University. During his summers, he worked in the Marine Department at Riverside Yacht Club in Greenwich, gaining foundational experience in professional vessel operations.
After earning his Merchant Mariner Certification, O'Reilly advanced through mate and captain roles on motor yachts up to 126 feet in length. In 2019, Select Yachts recognized his work by naming him captain of the motor yacht Lady Sharon Gale and featuring his career in a dedicated piece.
In his early thirties, O'Reilly undertook a deliberate period of personal reflection and reset his priorities. He relocated to South Florida's east coast, a region he identified for its depth of opportunity in the yachting, marine trades, and hospitality industries. He currently serves in a technical role at Coastal Air Systems, bringing a disciplined, communication-first approach to marine systems work.
Outside of work, O'Reilly is an active recreational boater and angler, with a particular focus on big game fishing and the waters around the Jupiter Inlet. He is also an enthusiastic cook and values the connection between saltwater fishing and the table.
