Christopher Michael Mottino is a Corporate Account Manager at Ecolab based in Gig Harbor, Washington. He later served as Operations Control Division Officer, Senior Watch Officer, and Assistant Director of the Tactical Operations Center in Okinawa, Japan, where he supervised up to 149 personnel. His final Navy assignment was as Catapult and Arresting Gear Officer aboard USS Nimitz in Bremerton, Washington.
Mottino holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus in Athletic Training from Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt). He completed United States Navy Flight Training and earned designations as Naval Aviator, Aviation Safety Officer, and Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI).
He was born in Lancaster, California, and raised in the Antelope Valley in a Catholic household. His father was an Air Force veteran who worked at Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works. Mottino played center and outside linebacker at Paraclete High School and contributed to back-to-back CIF championships in football and golf. He began playing golf at age 11 and has maintained an 11 handicap for most of his life.
Mottino has spoken about the role of youth sports and mentorship in building discipline and leadership. He launched “Analog Evenings,” a vinyl listening initiative reflecting his interest in analog music experiences.
