About Bryan Winquist

Bryan Winquist is an Environmental Health and Safety Manager with a diverse background in public service and agriculture. Born on March 2, 1980, and raised in upper Michigan, Bryan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin in 2005. He began his career as a firefighter and paramedic, where he developed a strong foundation in emergency response and safety protocols. These experiences shaped his interest in environmental health and safety management.

In 2020, Bryan joined Tyson Foods as a Complex Safety Manager. In this role, he oversees the implementation and management of safety protocols across various facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a safe work environment for employees. His work emphasizes proactive risk management, safety training, and continuous improvement of workplace safety standards.

Beyond his corporate role, Bryan manages Nubian Meadows Farm in Somerville, Tennessee, where he raises Angus cattle and practices sustainable farming. His dual career allows him to integrate safety management principles into both agricultural and corporate environments, contributing to improved safety practices in diverse sectors.

A member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Bryan is committed to staying updated on industry standards and developments in safety management. His career is characterized by a focus on safety, risk prevention, and sustainable practices, making him a key contributor to both workplace safety and environmental health initiatives.
