He also worked on cross-industry crime prevention efforts that earned him recognition from both the recording industry and the construction industry. His work on a hit-and-run case contributed to Oregon legislation known as Anna and Abigail's Law, signed in 2018.
McKey now practices criminal defense and personal injury law at McKey Law. He is actively involved in his community and remains engaged in youth sports through his sons' baseball teams.
