Bill Von Fumetti

Bill Von Fumetti is a Certified Public Accountant and the founder of Booming Bookkeeping Business, based in Redondo Beach, California. He began his career in accounting after earning a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Southern California in 1998. He later earned his CPA license through the California Board of Accountancy.

Before launching his own firm, Von Fumetti worked in various financial roles, including as general manager of a fitness center. He became interested in bookkeeping after discovering the earning potential of virtual bookkeepers. In 2016, he started his own accounting firm, Von Fumetti, PC. The firm provides bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, and business consulting services to small businesses across the United States.

In 2018, he founded Booming Bookkeeping Business, a training and mentorship program for people interested in starting virtual bookkeeping businesses. The program includes online courses, hands-on QuickBooks training, and client acquisition strategies. Over 8,000 students have completed the program as of 2025.

Von Fumetti is also the author of the Wall Street Journal bestselling book Keyboard Rich: How Anyone Can Earn Six Figures from Home with a Simple Bookkeeping Business. He has spoken at QuickBooks Connect, a leading industry conference.

He continues to operate his accounting firm while leading Booming Bookkeeping Business. Von Fumetti lives in Redondo Beach with his wife and children and is active in promoting accessible business education for people seeking flexible, home-based careers.
