Yusuf earned his Doctor of Medicine from Addis Ababa University, Gondar Medical College in Ethiopia. He completed a Dermatology residency at the University of Leipzig in Germany and an Internal Medicine residency at Atlanta Medical Center in Georgia. He holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified by the Georgia Institute of Technology.
