In that role, he designed gas main remediation projects for major utility companies on the east coast and developed internal curriculum for employee onboarding and operator qualifications training. He held this role until September 2025.
Helinski also operates Helinski Custom Woodworking, a Salem-based woodworking venture focused on handmade cutting boards and custom pieces. Prior to his academic and professional career, he played varsity ice hockey at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts, earning team MVP honors in 2001, and was subsequently recruited to play at Suffolk University in Boston, where he competed from 2002 to 2005.
