About Anthony Helinski

Anthony Helinski is a Salem, New Hampshire-based educator, engineer, and woodworking entrepreneur. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Suffolk University (2006) and two master's degrees from Lesley University: a Master of Science in General Science (2011) and a Master of Science in Education (2014).
Helinski spent seven years as a science and reading teacher at Lawrence Public Schools in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where he was known for inquiry-based learning and hands-on classroom methods. He subsequently taught engineering and design at a school in Andover, Massachusetts, leading after-school programs in civil engineering and woodworking.
He later transitioned into the engineering and project management field, joining Progressive Pipeline Management in Wenonah, New Jersey as a Senior Project Engineer. In that role, he designed gas main remediation projects for major utility companies on the east coast and developed internal curriculum for employee onboarding and operator qualifications training. He held this role until September 2025.
Helinski also operates Helinski Custom Woodworking, a Salem-based woodworking venture focused on handmade cutting boards and custom pieces. Prior to his academic and professional career, he played varsity ice hockey at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts, earning team MVP honors in 2001, and was subsequently recruited to play at Suffolk University in Boston, where he competed from 2002 to 2005.
