About Ajit Chaudhry

Dr. Ajit Chaudhry is a general dentist and practice owner based in Ontario, Canada. He is known for clinical work in bone grafting, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and wisdom tooth extractions with IV sedation.

Chaudhry was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. He attended Frontenac Secondary School from 1985 to 1990. He studied at Queen’s University in Kingston from 1990 to 1991. He then attended the University of Western Ontario, where he studied Actuarial Science from 1991 to 1994. He later completed dental school at the University of Western Ontario from 1994 to 1998 and graduated in 1998.

After graduating, Chaudhry moved to Belleville, Ontario, where he worked in a dental practice for four years. In 2002, he purchased his first dental practice with his twin brother in Ancaster, Ontario. Over the following years, he expanded practice ownership across Canada and has been involved in approximately 20 dental practices. Practices associated with him include Playfair Dental Centre and Barrie Dental Arts.

In addition to clinical work, Chaudhry serves as an owner-operator of multiple dental practices. His responsibilities include practice oversight and operational management. He has stated that he does not place his name on all practice websites.

Chaudhry supports charitable causes through donations to SickKids Hospital. Outside of work, he has reported interests in fitness and sports, including cardio, Pilates, weight lifting, tennis, and basketball. In his junior years, he was highly ranked in Ontario as a tennis player.
